For bisgaard it is important to take social responsibility and help where it is needed and give value to some of the poorest countries with either financial support or shoes. bisgaard supports charitable projects worldwide. Among the projects are two charity projects where bisgaard actively supports vulnerable children and young people in Honduras and Madagascar. In addition, bisgaard also supports “Kræftens Bekæmpelse" with an annual amount and donates shoes to “Mødrehjælpen", which sells the shoes in their stores. The sale of the shoes goes untouched to “Mødrehjælpen".
